Lincoln Park Market Story
Lincoln Park Market was opened in 1970 and is owned by Conrad Schuberth and Bruce Longanecker. Bruce has won awards from Mayor Daley for his involvement over the years to ensure Lincoln Park and the greater Chicago area continues to be a shining example of what citizenship can truly be. Over the years Lincoln Park Market has changed with times and trends as well as kept updated. Some examples of these changes are adding North Community Bank, the U.S. Post Office and expanding the Delicatessen Department. Also, Lincoln Park Market offers services valuable to the neighborhood, such as: In past years, Mayor Daley has recognized Bruce Longanecker, a past chamber chairman and owner of the Lincoln Park Market, for his, "remarkable humanitarian spirit." Longanecker initiated a relief program and Lincoln Parkers adopted the community of North Gulfport, Mississippi. Longanecker headed there in December with a load of supplies and Christmas toys for 1,000 children. Our philosophy is quite simple at Lincoln Park Market, we know we must offer good products at reasonable prices and lead by example with involvment in bettering our community whenever we possibly can.
